#15: So Much Here, So Much Nearby

Seneca Lake

“I love living in Rochester because I think for the size (not too big/not too small), it has an incredible amount of things to do and is full of people who want to continue to make it even better! We are also so fortunate to be in a great geographical area—four seasons, close to so many lakes and parks—that even if you don’t want to go into the City, you can explore so many great things within an hour distance. One can never get bored here.

“In addition, the people here love to collaborate and work together, and are from so many different backgrounds, that it can sometimes feel like Rochester is a ‘melting pot’ all its own with everyone enjoying and coming up with a myriad of things to do in Rochester as well as make it an even better place to live.

“My favorite places to go in Rochester are definitely the array of different restaurants! Whatever you’re in the mood for, you’ll have at least a few amazing options in that genre! There are also so many small shops and amazing little neighborhoods that help one to feel connected to the City.”
