#33: People, Community, Diversity

My son — and some new friends — having fun with bubbles at the Park Ave. Festival, one of those many “weekend activities.”

“I’m a people person, so the thing I love the most about Rochester isn’t a place or a particular thing to do, but the people. Having lived around the country before settling in Rochester, I was immediately touched by the deep relational bonds that are made so easily here. I love that Rochesterians are willing to engage significantly during an initial meeting, show compassion for others, and so fully work at a high quality of lives for themselves.

“Of course, the endless number of weekend activities promote a strong sense of community, and the diversity of our city allows us to experience cultures and customs beyond ourselves. Rochester is a gem, and I wish I had moved here years before I did.”
