“What do I love about Rochester seems an unfair question as it’s almost overwhelming to include all the reasons why it’s the BEST PLACE TO LIVE!
“I’ll start with the parks! I have fond memories of walking through, photographing, picnicking and spending memorable afternoons with family and friends at… Highland Park & Lamberton Conservatory, Cobbs Hill reservoir, Durand Eastman Park, Mendon Ponds Park to feed the black capped chickadees sunflower seeds right out of your hand.
“I love to stop into East Ave. or Pittsford Wegmans for a delicious variety of prepared food like Indian cuisine and bring it to one of the above parks for a picnic!
“A great day of shopping would be to visit any of the amazing indie arts and crafts shows like Brainery Bazaar, Second Storie and Mayday Underground to name a few!
“Great new businesses have been popping up all over downtown Rochester such as Little Button Craft and Press in the South Wedge, and Pour Coffee Parlor, ‘the best cardamom lavender lattes.’ Making it an even more special place to call home! As a full time artist I get inspired and truly appreciate seeing the culture get richer and come together as an artistic community.”
