#75: Places for Learning, Places for Fun

Seneca Park Zoo

Seneca Park Zoo

“We love living in Rochester because it’s a city full of rich and diverse cultural history. As parents who homeschool our children, it’s important to us to be able to have resources to educate our children locally. We love the Strong, our Zoo, local homeschool groups, our amazing church New Hope Community, and our amazing students who have been taking our hoop classes far and wide since 2010. Our children have been dancing at Mossa School of Dance at the Auditorium Center since 2011. My wife and I are involved with the Greece Paint Players, a local community theater troupe.

“There is never a boring day in Rochester, as there is always something to do somewhere, and it’s usually at a family-friendly price. We are season ticket holders for the Rochester Razorsharks, since they formed in Rochester, as well as the Amerks. We love shows at Geva, and the ‘Dollar Theater’ movie theater, and of course sledding at Highland Park in the winter, and movies there in the summer.

“The list really is endless, so I’ll end it here!”
