#99: Everything from Mexican Food to Diners

Rochester Highland Park Diner

“I have lived in Rochester my whole life, so to pick a couple things that I love about Rochester is hard because I can think of so many! One of the things I love most about Rochester is all the festivals that happen around town, especially during the summer months. Between the Lilac Fest, Park Ave. Fest, Clothesline Festival, Jazz Fest, the list goes on and on. It’s a great way to showcase artists both locally and otherwise, not to mention it helps brings the community together to celebrate the arts.

“The other thing that I love about Rochester is the food selection! People may not think of Rochester as having a robust offering of food selection, but that is not the case. Everything from great Mexican food from La Casa and Dorado to diners like Highland Diner and Steve’s in Penfield, there is no shortage of places to eat. Whether you’re looking for the best curry in town, a great burger, or even a little pizza joint, Rochester has it all!”
